Gina Veazey
Gina Veazey is an expert communicator with over 20 years of varied PR and marketing experience. The former editor of AHIP Coverage, the official magazine of America’s Health Insurance Plans, Gina has seen and heard thousands upon thousands of pitches from PR representatives. She understands which approaches work and, more importantly, which ones fail and why.

Today she brings that experience to bear for healthcare clients as a healthcare communications consultant specializing in national/mainstream and trade media relations. Gina’s marquee account is Silverlink Communications, a healthcare technology company focused on driving positive consumer health behavior. She often collaborates with Silverlink’s customers (primarily the large health plans) to promote results of their programs to the media. Gina also represents Silverlink’s nationally known executives as they engage with the media. Her healthcare expertise is unusually wide-ranging, encompassing clinical topics, managed care issues, health reform efforts, the pharmacy business, analytics, technology, Medicare and more.

Gina holds a Bachelor of Arts degree with a double major in communications and political science from Anderson University in Anderson, Indiana.
